Movember

Why oh why didn't I see this until now?

Basic idea:  Grow a mustache for the month of November Movember to raise awareness to fight prostate cancer.
How:  Grow a mustache and talk it up at work and ask donations when people ask you about it.

"It's a fundraiser for prostate health and prostate cancer awareness that began in Australia five years ago, and, in recent years, has grown worldwide. Last year, the monthlong event raised nearly three-quarters of $1 million, and I expect it will top that this year."

People all over the world have joined in with pretty simple rules to enter and a fun website to make it interesting.  I'm always looking for a reason to grow my 'stache.

Anybody out there doing this or want to remind me next year in late October?

Personally, I dig the The Lab, which includes a "barber shop" where you can see what you'd look like with a mustache and photo galleries of previous participants. Also, even if you don't participate, you may want to check out a Mo party in your town later this month.
